Google rolling out 4.4.2 KitKat update, currently only available to download for Nexus devices


Google is rolling out the Android 4.4.2 update for the Nexus devices. Interestingly, the update comes just days after the search giant came up with the Android 4.4.1 update for the operating system. According to reports, Google started rolling out the updates from today only. The updates will reportedly be available over the air and will reach users within the next few days.

Further, if your tablet or smartphone hasn’t received the Android 4.4.1 update, then don’t worry as it will be updated directly to the 4.4.2 version. It will be bigger in size than what others get though. For those who have the 4.4.1 update, the new version will be small.

Samsung Galaxy J announced in Taiwan, says report


Yesterday Samsung reportedly launched the Galaxy J smartphone in Taiwan. According to reports, this makes Taiwan only the second market to get the Galaxy J apart from Japan where it was released some time ago. The Galaxy J is a high-end device from Samsung, which sports many of the features of the Galaxy Note 3, but has a smaller screen.

The Samsung Galaxy J has a 12.7-cm (5-inch) full HD display and is powered by a 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad core processor. It has 3 GB of RAM like the Galaxy Note 3 and 32 GB of internal storage capacity. The storage can also be extended using a micro-SD card. Also, like the Note 3, the Galaxy J runs the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system. It supports LTE Cat 4 and has a 13 mega pixel rear camera. It runs on a 2,600 mAh battery.

Small Changes

Dreaming of Fitness

In the past, I have always jumped into a “healthy” lifestyle full force. The issues then become that I cannot maintain it. Forget the training wheels, I want to go straight for the trick bikes. Slow and steady always wins the race though, so this time I will be the tortoise.

The plan is to make one or two small changes a week, that way I am not changing everything all at once. In the end, there will be the same result. I just hope that this method will make me more successful than my previous attempts.

Samsung Galaxy Gear: 800,000 Sold


According to a report by Reuters, Samsung has announced that they have sold 800,000 of their smart watches, making the Galaxy Gear watch the most poplar and successful smart watch on the market. Samsung released the numbers in an effort to thwart some rumors that the smart watch wasn’t doing well in sales. Samsung said it their statement, “It’s the most sold wearable watch available in the market place…and we plan to expand its availability by expanding mobile devices that work with the Gear.”

The Samsung Galaxy Gear sells for $279 and is compatible with Samsung devices running Android 4.3 and higher.
